the end of googlie eyes (sigh)

OK...so today is Halloween and I am SO depressed. (sigh) Why you ask? Well, call me short-sighted or whatever you like but Halloween is the only time I can see a use for my beloved googlie eyes! (sigh) With the passing of Halloween my beloved googlie eyes also pass until next Halloween. (sigh) WOE IS ME! (BIG sigh)

OK...I'll stop babbling about googlie eyes (sigh) and get on with telling you what I used to make this card. (just one more...SIGH).

House of Haunts card

Here is yet one more Halloween card that I made this year. I've always really liked this stamp set! Here are the items/products I used to make this card. Just a note first though...the stamped image is on Whisper White. I then used a sponge to "dab" Basic Gray on the whole image to make it seem more dark...like it's dusk I guess!

Stamp set: House of Haunts

Cardstock/paper: Basic Gray, Whisper White, Wicked Fun DSP

Ink: Basic Gray, Basic Black

Other: sponge, So Saffron Stampin' Write marker, Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write marker (I colored in the windows with this), Black Flourish gems

another REALLY simple card

This card is SO simple! I LOVE this DSP (Designer Series Paper) too! The bats you see are "flocked". This paper reminds me of the old fashioned wallpaper you used to see in the old Victorian homes! Anyway, you really can't get much simpler than this card! Here are the items/products I used to make this card.

Stamp set: Grateful Greetings

Ink: Rich Razzleberry

another Wicked Cool card

I got the idea for this card from a card made by Gayla O'Dell. I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture but I stamped the hat on a scrap piece of Whisper White and then cut it out and used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach it to the card. I just LOVE this stamp set! Here are the items and products I used to make this card.

Stamp set: Wicked Cool

Paper/Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Wicked Fun DSP

Ink: Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry

Other: Eyelet Border punch, Neutral brads, Basics Glimmer brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write marker, Basic Black Stampin' Write marker

another Batty For You card

I LOVE this stamp set! Know the main reason I love this set? Because it's SO easy to use the "googlie eyes" with it! LOL I LOVE googlie eyes! OK...enough of me and my infatuation with googlie eyes (does anyone know if there is some sort of support group out there for folks who have a "thing" for googlie eyes?). Here is a list of the items I used to make this card.

Stamp sets: Batty For You, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Cardstock: Basic Black, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Balck, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze (I sponged the Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze over the embossing to help bring the embossing out)
