Learn About Butterflies Day

OK...so I am REALLY late posting this! "Learn About Butterflies Day" is actually March 14...today is March 18! I really had intended on posting this on either the 13th or 14th! What? You didn't know that March 14 is Learn About Butterflies Day???? (grin) I have a whole list of really obsure holidays such as that. So, don't be surprised to come back here sometime and see me post something about some holiday that you knew NOTHING about! (grin) This card was inspired by a card I saw on Stampers Showcase quite some time ago. That card was made by Colleen Vancil. Here are the products I used to make this card:

Butterfly Basket

I wanted to show you something different today! I've mostly uploaded card images here at More SU Stamps Please. So, I thought I'd show you a "3-D" project I made! I have LOTS of trouble with the Baskets & Blooms die! Well, not the die itself but with putting the little basket together! Each time I've tried using the little round bottom that is part of the die I just can't seem to get the silly thing to stay in place. I am SURE it's something I'm doing wrong as I've seen quite a few of these little baskets on the web that are adorable and they use the round bottom! Here is a list of the products I used to make by little butterfly basket!

Paper: Bali Breeze Designer Series paper (retired), Taken With Teal cardstock, Tempting Turquoise cardstock

Dies: Baskets & Blooms, Beautiful Butterflies

Other: gold wire, glitter glue, Dimensionals, Whisper White Satin ribbon
