This card was SO easy it's not even funny! All you really need is some scraps from patterned paper. You could even use different colored solid cardstock and stamp background type images on the strips to "decorate" them. I used scraps of my Deck the Halls DSP from some of the other cards I made this year. This card is a CASE from a card I saw (probably online) made by Debra Currier. If I remember right Debra used what looked like Stampin' Dimensionals to attach her strips to give the card some dimension. I didn't do that. I just attached each strip and then sort of curled the scalloped edge a bit so that it didn't lay exactly flat. Here is a list of the items I made to make this card.
Stamp set: Four the Holidays
Cardstock/paper: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Deck the Halls DSP
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Other: Scallop Edge punch, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon, sponge
All products made by/sold by Stampin' Up!
This card is definitely being saved to memory - as it will work for so many occasions. I love the scallops - it's just too, too cute! P.S. In case I don't "talk" to you this week again, please have a wonderfully Merry Christmas with your family. Please give all the kids a rub behind the ears for me!
