Crazy for Cupcakes for Claire

I made this card as yet another birthday card for one of the ladies on the Stampin' Up Late Night Stampers Yahoo group! Here's the "recipe":

Stamp sets: Crazy for Cupcakes (and, I used something (?) on the yellow "background" but danged if I can remember what it was - I think it was one of the stamps in this set)

Ink: Staz-On Jet Black, Summer Sun, Close To Cocoa, Ballet Blue, Cameo Coral, Orchid Opulence

Cardstock: Barely Banana, Cameo Coral, Orchid Opulence, Ballet Blue, Whisper White

Other: gold brad, Word Window punch, Lavender Stickles (for the sprinkles on the cupcake)

Now...I must tell you all, I have been SO busy! My "sneak peek" stuff came from Stampin' Up! yesterday and I barely had time to look through it all! What have I been busy with? My new little foster child! He's a TINY little Yorkie puppy! I don't have any new pics of him yet but here is a link to where you can see him - http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=13956978 - I promise I will take some pics today and post more about him tomorrow. This poor little guy has already had a tough time of it even with him being so young!

Good Morning! I know...it's been a few days! I've been "side-tracked" doing all sorts of things! I decided I had best get in here and post something new though! So, here is a birthday card I made for one of the ladies on the Stampin' Up! Late Nite Stampers Yahoo group!

Patty Bennett's Dress Card

It seems like everyone on Late Night Stampers was making a card using Patty Bennett's template so I had to make one too! Patty is one of the most talented people I have seen in a LONG time. Her blog is at http://pattystamps.typepad.com/pattys_stamping_spot/ - just go take a look and I am sure you will agree with me about her being so talented!

Anyway, I made this card as a birthday card for one of the ladies on LNS (Late Night Stampers). Here is my "recipe":

Stamp set: Viola!

Cardstock/paper: Whisper White, Sweet Slumber DSP, Baja Breeze, So Saffron

Ink: Baja Breeze

Other: Circle, Scallop die, Bashful Blue Taffeta ribbon, Style Filigree brad, Squares Texturz Plate

NOTE: To make the white "peek" out from under the dress I just cut two of the scallop circles, one in white and one in the Sweet Slumber DSP. Then, I just trimmed the scallop edge of the white circle and glued it under the Sweet Slumber circle and let it "peek" out.

A Wish For You

This card actually served TWO purposes. I made it as a birthday card for one of the ladies on the Late Night Stampers list. It was also my submission for last week's challenge...embossing...on Late Night Stampers. The "inspiration" for this card came from Shannon Mathias on the Stampin' Up! demonstrators website. Here is the "recipe":

Stamp sets: A Wish For You & It's Your Birthday
Cardstock: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Summer Sun & Tangerine Tango
Ink: Versamark
Other: yellow, orange & red embossing powder (I mixed these together), Large Dots Texturz plate

NOTE: You can't really see it but "Happy Birthday" is stamped vertically out at the edge of the card. You can see it when you look at it in person but it didn't show up very well in the picture!

Garden Whimsey

This card actually did "double duty" for me! We have a weekly challenge at the Late Night Stampers Yahoo group. It was to make something with a summer theme last week. I also needed to make a birthday card for one of the ladies on the list. So, here is one of the summer theme cards I came up with. What can I say? Ladybugs just say summer to me! The inspiration for this card came from the Splitcoast Stampers Gallery some time back. The "recipe" follows:

Cardstock: Real Red, Summer Sun & Summer Sun
Ink: Basic Black & Real Red
Stamp sets: Garden Whimsey & Viola!
