Scenic Season
This is another card I've made for the upcoming craft fair here in town. I really like this one and may end up making this one as my Christmas cards to send family and friends this year. I CASE'd this one from the current Stampin' Up! catalog....page 35! It's not an exact copy but it's close! Here is the recipe I used....Friday, August 21, 2009

City of David
Good Morning one and all! I do hope you all are having a GREAT day so far! It's a bit early here (Holden, Missouri) right now...just before 5 a.m. but I'm sure it's going to be a good day! Why am I sure? Because I just am! I do try to be positive! I do think it helps to have a positive outlook sometimes! Here's hoping my positive outlook doesn't go down the toilet as the day goes on! Christ Is Born
Here is another one that I've made for the upcoming craft fair here in town. I promise that not all of the cards I will upload will be Christmas cards! I am also making some "Thank You" cards, some blank notecards and some birthday cards for the craft fair. Here is the recipe for this card:Monday, August 17, 2009

I made this card for my nephew for his birthday at the end of July! I LOVE using punches to make "things"!!! I am not sure where I got the picture I printed some time back for this card but I did "case" it from someone! Here is my "recipe" (which is pretty much as the card I case'd):
Stamp set: Simply Said
Cardstock: Garden Green, Whisper White, Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue
Other: white gel pen, black Stampin' Write marker, Ticket Corner punch, Horizontal Slot punch, 1 3/4" Circle punch, 1/4" Circle punch, 1/2" Circle punch, Large Oval punch, Wide Oval punch

Oval Punch Flower
I printed the inspiration for this card from the Stampers Showcase at the demo side of the Stampin' Up! website AGES ago. The original that I printed was made by Steffany Wells. I finally got around to making one! Here's the "recipe" for mine:Saturday, August 8, 2009
LNS Challenge - Monochromatic

Well, this week's challenge over at Late Night Stampers was to make something but make it monochromatic (did I spell that right?). So, here is my submission. I'm going to send this card to my Aunt EmmaLou. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. As you might imagine she's having a tough time dealing with the "C" word. She had her breast removed just yesterday. I didn't want to send a "Get Well Soon" type card even though I do hope she is feeling better and cured soon. I thought a "Thinking of You" card would work better given the situation.
So, anyway, here's my recipe for this card:
Stamp set: Upsy Daisy
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue
Ink: Brocade Blue
Other: Harlequin Texturz plate, Brocade Blue 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon
All products made by Stampin' Up!

Snow Swirled

So, now the card....it's pretty much copied from a card I saw on the Stampers Showcase on the demo part of the Stampin' Up! website. Jean Slayton is the one who made the card that I printed. I didn't follow her "recipe" exactly but it's pretty danged close! Here's my recipe:
Cardstock: Ruby Red, Glorious Green, Whisper White
Stamp set: Snow Swirled
Ink: Encore! Gold, VersaMark, Ruby Red
Other: Ticket Corner punch, gold brads, Scallop Edge punch, gold embossing powder, White taffeta ribbon
I know it's hard to tell in the picture but the snowflakes that I stamped for the "background" on the Glorious Green are done in the Encore! Gold.
