Snow Swirled...again

I FINALLY finished all the cards for the troops yesterday! WHEW! Now I just need to count how many I have and get some envelopes for them all! I may never make another card again!!! OK...not really! I LOVE making cards! I'm just glad that this project is done! I now need to get on with making my mother-in-law's birthday gift. Her birthday is in November! As some of you may know, I have TWELVE dogs that are "mine" here. I also have three foster dogs right now. Anyway, my poor mother-in-law gets SO confused when I talk about them because she has not met them (they live in Florida part of the year and in North Carolina part of the year). So, I thought I would make her a mini scrapbook with pictures and info about each of my dogs. The title of the scrapbook? My Grand-Dogs of course!!!! I think she will really like it!

Speaking of the cards for the troops. I will take pictures of each style of card that I made and show them to you over the next few weeks! I am rather proud of a few of them!

Now, on to today's card. I made this one for the craft fair that will be here in Holden, Missouri the first weekend of December. The inspiration for this card came from the Stampers Showcase on the demo side of the Stampin' Up! website. The original was made by Kathy Anthony. Here is my "recipe":

Stamps: Snow Swirled

Cardstock: Brocade Blue, Brushed Silver, Whisper White

Ink: Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue, VersaMark

Other: Brocade Blue 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon, Bashful Blue Organza ribbon (retired), Brocade Blue brad, silver embossing powder, heat tool,

All products made by Stampin' Up!

  1. Gorgeous! And I can't wait to see the troop cards. I know they will be fantastic too. I hope I get to see your mini scrapbook before you send it off!

I'd SO love to hear your comments on my projects! Tell me if you like it, don't like it or what you think I should do to make it better!
